Course Details

Day 1 Understand the science of wood, wood movement, learn basics of wood-working and get introduced to hand (power) tools. Day 2 Discover the magic of palm router and its ‘JIGS’. Choose an APPRENTICE PROJECT and learn to decode the steps in making. Day 3 Get introduced to starter finishing techniques. Apply all what you learned so far to complete and finish your APPRENTICE PROJECT. Day 4 Learn wood joineries, machine tools and start designing your ARTISAN project with mentor guidance. ​ Day 5 Visit the saw mill to source wood for your project and understand milling. Day 6 Build and refine, address unique challenges like testing mechanics or gluing components. Learn advanced finishing techniques. Day 7 & 8 Complete your ARTISAN project. Showcase and Celebrate. Duration: 8 DAYS Timings: 9.30am to 5.30pm (lunch break (1hr) 1.00pm - 2.00pm Location: Deodara Studio, Nachinola, Goa  Early Bird Fee: Rs.27,990 Use code OCT8 (valid till Oct 13th) Regular Fee: Rs.29,990 Students are required to purchase additional wood for their Artisan Project (approx.
